Cassie Rodgers

When Cassie Rodgers first found her way to the mat in 2005 she was drawn in equally by the physical and energetic effects yoga provides.  Cassie skillfully crafts her classes always with a goal in mind to help bring a better state of balance for both body and mind.  She is greatly influenced by the tantric yoga tradition, a method that incorporates the ancient wisdom Ayurveda, pranayama and meditation along with asana (postures) to expand the experience within our selves.

She strives to create a space where students can connect to themselves on a more subtle level yet feel challenged safely while receiving the amazing benefits of yoga.  She is grateful for her studies with her many influential teachers; Daren Friesen, Tias Little, Aadil Palkhivala, and Jim Bennitt.  She continues to deepen her knowledge of yoga with Rod Stryker and Para Yoga.

Cassie is also an experienced prenatal yoga teacher offering group classes and private lessons for woman in this life stage.  She leads workshops and trainings for teachers and students on how to best modify for pregnancy and is co-founder of Amala School of Prenatal Yoga offering an 85 hour teacher training in Chicago.
